Some new images have surfaced over on HK-TF.com. They show us vehicle and robot mode comparisons of Generations, United and the eHobby exclusive Kup figures. The lighting isn't the best in the photos, so it's a bit difficult to differentiate between the green and the blue, but the different paint apps are discernable. There is also a picture of Botcon Animated Stunticon Dead End in robot and vehicle mode. Dead End is accompanied in one picture by a Nascar themed repaint of Hunt For The Decepticons Side Arm Sideswipe. Last but not least, we have an image of some repaints of some movie deluxe figures. Bumblebee sports some interesting tattoos. Ironhide and Ratchet are half colored, half clear. It is unknown whether this is supposed to represent them teleporting or perhaps cloaking. Only time will tell. Check out the pictures below and see the original post here.

Image

iGear also have images and a preorder up for the Sideswipe repaint. According to them the figure is limited to 1000 units.

I much prefer the regular United Kup to the E-Hobby or Hasbro ones. Easily the best of the three IMO.

I dunno, that eHobby one is brutally toy accurate. I like that a lot.

Have we got a better release date for those e-hobby sets yet? Something other than "Q1 2011"?

I heard that they would be released in April. With the current situation in Japan I would expect release dates for any Takara Tomy Transformers to be delayed.

I hadn't heard the "April" dates mentioned before, but the other part of your post makes perfect sense, there are more important things than toys.

On lighter note, the e-hobby kup looks fantastic, I can't wait for him to be released and swap the head over with the igear one :D

Nascar Sideswipe steals the show.

It'll no doubt be the same situation for Masterpieces Prime and Megatron and the last wave of United but as you said, no one's going to complain.

I liked the look of those igear heads too, my favourite replacement head has to be the devil horns one for Cliffjjumper though.

Yea, I'm digging this one too!

Of the RotF stuff, I felt the Deluxe Sideswipes were the best.

With a pile of them in the different decos and re-molds, they look like a team, kind of like the seekers from G1.

iGear has a preorder up for that Sideswipe repaint. They claim it's limited to 1000 pieces. They also have a shot of him in bot mode.

I would totally pre-order that Sideswipe (love the racing theme) if I knew more about it. One picture and one store claiming it to be limited to 1000 pcs isn't worth 100 bucks yet. :P

The NASCAR sideswipe sucks. They havent even released the real wreckers figure and they already want to paint sideswipe to look like him.

Dead End and the stunticons are starting to grow on me. I may go to Botcon and get them but skip the other animated exclusives.

The teleporting repaints are just plain silly.

Im liking Kup. Wish he didnt have the battle damage, but glad I ordered the set. I have a feeling were going to see these sets very soon. Japanese people are very resourceful and will get things better quick. This is their livelihood and and it is our continued purchases of everything from Transformers, LCD TV's, to Import cars that will help them rebuild. I wish them a speedy recovery.

Nascar Sideswipe looks okay, but better in vehicle mode than robot. He'll probably be some weird no-name character or '______ Sideswipe', so I'll likely pass. Shame, because I'd like an excuse to pick up that mold.

Don't know what they're thinking with the weird half-transparent figures. Gimmickier and gimmickier, as Alice would say.

I thought Alice was only interested in robot-human "relations".

Sideswipe and his silly little yellow head are growing on me more each time I look at him. *facedesk*

I wonder if their inspired by FrenzyRumble's Mid-ward Skywarp.

I like the Sideswipe repaint quite a bit.

I'm loving the EHobby Kup. Fantastic paint job there. All the Kup paint schemes look good to me. Not one is a fail.

The cloaking scheme is so wonderfully ridiculous, wonder how it'll look for the bot modes. And loving how Sideswipe isn't silver.

I like these fun paint schemes, miles better than "slight change in color and added racing stripes/tattoos/logos." *like Bumblebee, there*

I actually like that Sideswipe pretty well. Far better than the awful version we got in America with the cheap red flames. If it ends up being released here, I'll probably try to get it. I wonder how it'll be as Nightbeat.

Looks like Sideswipe just joined the X-men. :D

Really digging those translucent redecos, because I don't have any of those molds  .

I really like that Sideswipe repaint, Kup might be a buy for the alt mode, and the 1/2-clear DOTM figures look cool.

I like the Sideswipe colors, and at the same time I don't. Because it looks like, whether intentional or not, they produced a homage to the Sunoco Camaro race cars of the late 60's.

Image

But dare I say if they were going to do that, then they should have repainted one of the Bumblebee molds to recreate the modern interpretation of the Sunoco racers.

I would buy the ehobby exclusive because it has excellent sculpt. And the battle damage effect gives a cool kick.
