Images of Generations Lugnut, Strafe and Takara-Tomy Seaspray from KOToys

I love Lugnut and will definitly pick him up

Strafe looked pretty decent in those "offical" pics we saw earlier but as usual the actual toy pic is very disappointing. Now I'm up in the air with him. Damn you Photoshop !!

I keep being surprised as to why some people prefer the Takara version over Hasbro's when it comes to Seaspray, as the difference are fairly minimal. Strafe looks cute, and Lugnut's terrific.

Seaspray looks too orange to me now. Preorder cancelled.

Hoo boy, that Strafe looks ugly. It's amazing how much different paint/plastic color can change a mold's appearance.

He doesn't look quite done, though. Hopefully the finished product will have better fit/finish/shine, etc.

I'm confused. Is it Strake, or Strafe?

Strafe. Typos can happen even here, the News Crew isn't perfect.

Hm don't think Strafe (amazing mold Mindwipe has but Strafe's colors kinda ruin it in those pics) or Lugnut look great at all in those photos and Seaspray looks so barely different I'll just pick up the Hasbro one like I was going to anyways. I'm not into TakaraTomy stuff unless it's so vastly superior which isn't all that often such as Buster Prime.

Deciding which SeaSpray I prefer is going to take some calculating. Hasbro's definately looks better with it's darker, metallic colours. But Takara's would fit in better with the Classics range, which is what I want it for. Decisions, decisions....

I didn't really care for the Animated figures, but man THAT Lugnut is awesome.

Strafe looks awesome figure-wise but the colors...oh god the colors make my eyes bleed.

i really like these movie versions of the animated characters
i would like to see bulkhead or blitz-wing done as with several others

just as a fyi to ppl kotoys also has turbo tracks and mindset up for purchase too

not a fan of him, but I like that Strafe's wing paint is the Autobot emblem. Lugnut's markings are cool, too. "LU6 NU7"

Actually hasbro is to thank for this thread's lugnut. The Takara version (Transformers United) of lugnut has a purple head.

Maybe it's the camera flash but the Takara version of Seaspray feels off. The yellow is too yellow to the point of looking cheap.

The more I look at Lugnut, the more I want him to be my replacement Animated Lugnut. I never had the chance to get 'em, and I'm not a fan of cheesy-looking repaints like Atomic Lugnut. Personally, even though in his 'bot mode, he's visually weaponless, he looks like he can crush an entire city by just closing his fist. Strafe's a maybe, and if I get 'em, he will become my Classics Strafe.

All I want from these is Lugnutz.

The Grey on Strafe has put me off perchasing him.

I have the Hasbro Seaspray already. He is a cool figure but I still can't see a reason to get another one.

The red mode is so gorgeous~

I -love- that Lugnut. It's a wonderful G1-ification of the character. Kinda miss the bomb-fists, but I imagine he can energy-charge his hands for the Punch-o-Boom the same way Fracture/Crasher does her feet.

Strafe... eh. Okay repaint of Mindwipe, but the name 'Strafe' with the lack of GUNS bugs the f'k out of me.

There's such little difference between the two, I'm just fine with HFTD Seaspray.

I'm definitely getting Lugnut, also, I'll be getting Tracks, Jazz, Legends Optimus, Legends Megatron, Legends Trailbreaker, PCC Dinobots, Thunderwing, Scourge, Perceptor, Wreck-Gar, Kup, Wheeljack, and Rumble. Whew! that's a lot of TF's to buy. every emoticon!

out of all these new ones...im really only interested in Jazz and Kup. Maybe Perceptor. But then I also have a backlog miles long of older figures i need like Mirage, Prowl, Dirge, Ramjet and one of the many Scattershot repaints. So most the new ones just get added to the ever-growing list.

And the greenish color will be replaced with black. I'm sticking with the Hasbro version. Looks awesome, but mistransformed here. I don't think his forearms are supposed to be that long. LOVE how huge the alt mode is. Amazing! makes me wonder how they'll fit him in the package. Bot mode, I suppose.

Seaspray looks good, but not enough to spend so much on him. I wish Hasbro had used yellow as well.

Strafe is even more of a pass than he was to begin with.
